Ate in person at the no frills shop. The food is served together and it looks amazing and tastes divine. My beef was very tender and hit the spot. Love the salad and water is bottled so there's a charge. Good bathroom as well. Staff are attentive and friendly.

The food was delicious! I got the kofta kebab and it was not dry at all and very flavorful. The person serving was I believe, the owner or manager and he was super nice and attentive! He gave me something on the house and extra pita and sauce for my leftovers. I appreciated that so much! I wanted to try the one in flushing but it seems like the reviews are not as good so maybe I'll just stick to this location.

We have been going here for 20 odd years. Nothing has changed, their portions are generous. The service is excellent. They are willing to look away if u bring your own orange juice from your home (wink wink ;) The ambience is lively. The food is to die for. Big fan of their kobideh.

Okay... so I've been trying to find the best afghan food and it's been a struggle. I also don't have much to compare it to but at the same time I know what good food is and let me tell you.... THIS IS IT. It's cool because it's casual vibes. They give everything to you in a to go box so that's interesting, although they have seating for you. I got the beef bargh, chicken tikka and the lamb chops with my party. And omg the only thing they are missing are mantoos! But I am willing to drive from Astoria for this place so that says it all. It was SO SO good. I took my leftovers home and immediately devoured it and followed my meal with a food coma. Certainly want to gate keep this place but they deserve the recognition.

This is a very expensive Afghan place but the food is phenomenal. I love ordering the mixed rice. It's a mixture of white rice and brown rice mixed together. They give it to you in an aluminum pan. I truly wish that they would give you more shish kebabs in an order. If they took care of that everything else would be right with the world. The white sauce is nice and tangy. It's so delicious you have to add it to everything. Also, it would be so much better if they include it sautéed onions as opposed to raw onions, grilled tomato and cilantro.
